Top 5 College Football Teams 2013 are Tough It is hard to believe, but college football season is beginning! So who are this year’s Top 5 College Football Teams? Although I am sure we all have our own personal favorites, CollegeInfoPro.com has come up with a list of the best college football picks for this season.

So who is the best college football team in our book? Read on for our choices for the top 5 college football teams in 2013.

  1. Alabama With one of the best quarterbacks in the nation, AJ McCarron, the Crimson Tide football team can very likely win the national championship. Despite losing some very important players, the team still has a ton of experience on the line making it, in our opinion, the best college football team this year.
  2. Ohio State With a pretty easy start to the season, the Buckeyes shouldn’t have any trouble starting the year off undefeated. Braxton Miller, Ohio State’s quarterback is said to be in the running for the Heisman Trophy this year. Between Miller’s talent and the ability of the school’s two returning running backs, along with four of the offensive line’s starters, the Buckeyes will certainly be tough competition this fall.
  3. Oregon Even though it is Chip Kelly’s first year as head coach, the Ducks should have enough natural talent to put them in the running for the national title. Quarterback Marcus Mariota had an incredible debut season last year and even though the defense could use some work, we think the Ducks are definitely one of the top college football programs this year.
  4. Texas A&M Because LSU lost so many players to the NFL Draft, the Aggies are said to be the biggest challenger in the SEC West Division against Alabama. Quarterback Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel returns, alongside Jake Matthews, and one of the best recruiting classes in the country.
  5. Georgia Aaron Murray decided to remain a Bulldog for his senior year, helping this Georgia school to remain one of the best teams in the SEC East despite its defense losing just about everyone in its starting lineup. With the offensive line returning all five starters, the Bulldogs will be a hard team to beat.
